Peninsula Services is hiring for Material Handler/Warehouse Laborer
Location: 5765 SW Imperial Way, Belfair, WA
Type of position: Full Time/Part Time, Non-Exempt
Wage: $17.50—$20.50 Hourly
Benefits: Paid Vacation, Medical/Dental/Vision coverage (for full-time ONLY)
Work schedule: Day Shift, 6:00 am—3:00 pm, Monday –Friday
Days vary if part-time
Job Duties Include:
Unloading the box truck full of collected material after route
Place processed material in designated area
Loan & unload trucks as required, utilizing pallet-jacks, pull carts & gaylords, in addition to working by hand
Sorting all miscellaneous donations categories including metal, plastic, electronics, card board, & remaining miscellaneous items
Organize miscellaneous area at end of the day
Sweep floor in the miscellaneous area to remove debris collected from the day’s sort.
Ensure no broken glass, or debris is in the work area
Empty garbage cans & sweep work area daily
Stage finished product in designated loading areas.
Work Schedule, 5-day work week must be available to work weekends, 6:00 am start time.
Other duties as directed

Requirements:
Flexibility to work hours based on business needs, including possible evening & weekends
Emotional & physical health sufficient to meet demands of position offered
Ability to pass E-Verify screening in addition to a DSHS background check
Documentation of CPR/First Aid Certification

Qualifications & Education:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred, must be willing & able to work positively with adults with l/dd.
High school diploma or general education degree; or equivalent combination of education & experience
Able to work positively and effectively with a variety of personalities & work styles
Strong work ethic / willing to go “the extra mile” when needed
