Small Bellevue general practice law office seeking experienced paralegal for full-time position to assist in a wide variety of legal areas, with an emphasis on civil litigation and real estate support.

The ideal candidate is capable of offering the highest level of services to our clients. Professionalism and teamwork are essential, so the best candidate works well with attorneys, co-workers, clients, and the court.

The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years recent Washington State litigation, and transactional real estate experience, with a working knowledge of the court procedures for King and Snohomish County. You need to be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients. The ability to multi task while maintaining attention to detail and organizational skill is a critical element to this position. You will be the primary paralegal for two attorneys. We practice real estate law, business transactions, and a wide variety of litigation, boundary line disputes, construction contract issues, purchase and sale disputes, and property rights matters make up the majority of the litigation, but is not the complete scope of work to be performed. You will handle the full range of matters from client intake to trial support, drafting pleadings, communication with clients, court personnel, and opposing attorneys.

Paralegal duties also include:

Assess and prepare contracts, contract addendums, and closing documents;

Assist to perform due diligence including review of closings;

Manage and store information electronically;

Prepare closing checklists, critical dates list, various declarations, certificates and resolutions and coordinate the

closing process for various real estate transactions;

Handle the recording of documents in various counties;

Assist with entity formation;

Assist in drafting Motions, Orders, Memorandums, Declarations, correspondence, and trial documents;

File documents with various courts;

The following qualifications are required:

Comfortable navigating the internet and researching information;

Ability to type 50+ words per minute;

Ability to work independently;

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC a plus.
