Title: Director of ProductLocation: Seattle, WA/ RemotePosition:Permanent The Director of Product owns and drives the product strategy.

  • Own and manage our start-up product roadmap and strategy
  • Strong communication skills to clearly describe strategy and drill into tactics.
  • Run meetings with technology and design teams such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and backlog estimating.
  • Drive project decisions and daily progress to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Articulate product requirements to developers and assist with the management of the development process.
  • Find the best path forward for the business when confronted with competing requirements and priorities, being able to balance new business features as well as reducing technical debt and bug fixing.
  • Take input and drive action from a diverse group of talented team members across functions.
  • Maniacal focus on “the details,” follow-up, process, audit, etc.
  • Develop and track success metrics, ensuring the team is clear on their objectives every step of the way.
  • Work across functional teams to highlight and mitigate dependencies.
  • Measure impact and fine-tune strategies on our product/feature roadmap.
  • Develop and write compelling narratives regarding feature ideas for presentation to senior management.
  • Conduct and/or utilize market research, competitive analysis, work with clients and internal stakeholders to help define new opportunities.

Preferred Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • 5+ years professional product management experience working on digital products.
  • Excellent communication skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate contributions to a successful project or product previously.
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders, engineering & design/UX teams in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with software development and documentation tools such as Confluence, JIRA and standard measurement platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Fundamental understanding of developing mobile applications.
  • Strong user experience and technical sensibilities.
  • Self-starter sensibilities and an enthusiasm for collaboration.
  • Not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Actively seek data to drive sound decision making
  • Ability to roll up sleeves in a startup environment.
  • Experience with e-commerce websites a plus

Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree required.
