WE ARE HIRING Because of our continued growth Scotts MiracleGro - the world's largest marketer of branded consumer lawn products - is looking to hire. We are searching for a full time Lead Maintenance Mechanic who will service our Marysville, Washington Growing Media Facility.

This position is responsible for all of the following:

Working safely and ensuring the safety operation of all equipment

Managing the Preventative Maintenance Program.

Improving uptime throughout the facility while managing spend to the facility's budget.

Completing maintenance requests as needed

Ordering maintenance supplies

Increasing productivity through operational improvements and increased machine reliability.

Desired Skills:

Ability to weld - MIG, TIG and Stick

Expertise in a heavy industry environment

Ability to repair and diagnose rolling stock issues

Knowledge of motors/gearboxes/mechanical troubleshooting

Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and installation

Exposure to PLCs

Qualification Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of three (3) year related training/experience

High level of concentration and attention to detail

Ability to speak and understand instructions in the English language

Ability to read and write English

Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Observant, detail oriented and well organized

Ability to work in fast-paced environment

Effective communication skills

Available for on-call
