SIGNAGE INSTALLATION TECHNICIAN - Joint Signarama, the world's largest sign company! We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter installation specialist for Signarama flagship store to serve the immediate Seattle Metro area (Seattle, Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, Issaquah). This job will require skills in signage installation, vinyl application, light construction with the right tools and a great eye for great finishing. Must be organized, problem solver, detail-oriented and great finisher. Knowledge to work with light construction tools, hardware, adhesives, tapes is a must. Proficiency with latex digital printing, lamination, plotter/cutter is a definite plus.
Key Job Functions:
- Directly produce and oversee installation of in-house produce signage.
- Accurately and securely install signage projects following project instructions and approved proofs.
- Correctly apply vehicle and window graphics when needed.
- Help create daily requisitions for all installation supplies and materials needed for projects.
- Accurately mask, weed, trim and apply vinyl to various substrates as need.
- Be available at the store location to assure all design and/or installation questions can be answered quickly and effectively.
- Safely and effectively operate all sign installation and production equipment including, but not limited to; vertical panel saw, power drills, jig saws, router, skill saw, and pop-torch, ladder, power lift.
- Correctly use all required software and hardware to design signage which meets customer requirements, including the loading of ink, maintenance of equipment necessary in the design process.
- Maintain a safe working environment in the production area by assuring all equipment and machinery is in proper working condition, the work area is kept clean and free of hazards and all required safety clothing and/or equipment is worn during the use of equipment required in the production and installation of signs.
- Must be able to work at the store and at customer locations to comply with all company policies, procedures and guidelines for the position, as well as complete all training requirements of the company.
