The Programming and Client Services Manager will provide leadership and facilitate all Pike Market Senior Center (PMSC) programs and client services, expand the breadth and reach of PMSC programs to serve the myriad needs of low-income seniors living in the downtown core, and inspire program staff to provide, develop, and execute the best possible services for existing and prospective Pike Market Senior Center clients.

Essential Job Duties:

· Plan and oversee PMSC Programming including exercise & health programs, entertainment, classes, socialization opportunities, volunteer opportunities, and celebrations

· Develop long and short term program goals

· Plan, execute, and oversee new PMSC Programming and Outreach

· Oversee budget for Client Services and Programming

· Hire, train, and supervise Programming and Client Services staff, including program coordinator, program assistant, client services coordinators, and front desk staff

· Develop ways to engage community in PMSC programs through partnerships and volunteering

· Oversee membership enrollment

· Develop process for assessing and analyzing program effectiveness

· Manage PMSC programming spaces

· Oversee contract compliance and reporting for Senior Center Programs

· Develop and foster partnerships that expand program outreach and expertise

· Work with other program managers and leadership staff to maximize effectiveness of PMSC-FB programs

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong supervisory and leadership skills

· Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Education:

· Bachelors’ degree in related field or equivalent experience in a social services position

Desired Qualifications:

· Experience developing and managing programming for seniors

· Experience and passion for managing staff and providing program leadership

· Experience with community needs assessment

· Experience providing services to underserved populations

· Understanding of the special needs of older adults, particularly marginalized seniors experiencing homelessness, addiction, isolation, and poverty

· Desire to be part of a dynamic, expanding non-profit agency

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 /year
