We need help running our small family ecommerce business on eBay.
Responsibilities include
-cleaning, prepping, testing items, and taking photos. We sell lots of stuff, including clothing, DVDs, etc.
-Working with and guiding any independent contractors and temp workers who are doing hourly work to improve listing and shipping production; this includes both in-person and Virtual Assistants working on photography and listings
-coordinating with the team using a portal
-Packing and shipping orders on time. Lift and carry up to 40lbs unassisted.
-answering customer queries, processing returns
-Maintaining inventory system
After an initial probationary period, we accommodate pretty flexible scheduling where you can set your own hours any time from 7AM-10PM, 7 days a week. The only hard requirement is ensuring shipments are fulfilled on time, which typically requires showing up for 2 consistent days per week to ship. We are also open to considering part time for qualified candidates (any range of hours from 20 to 40 a week).
This role has room to grow with the business and hours, and pay will adjust with measured productivity (processed units/hour).
One weekend day is preferred at least early on so you can overlap with other assistants' work hours for training purposes.
Work location is near the Maple Valley/Black Diamond boundary. You must have access to a vehicle to perform this job effectively.
