Job Summary

Immediate need for a Systems / Infrastructure Support Administrator to join our team and assist with the gradual transformation from manual to automated processes. We need someone who understands what/why/how something is not functioning properly, who has solid debugging skills, who is passionate about issue discovery and resolution. We are looking for someone who will be a long term asset to the team who is excited to wear many hats and support a variety of areas of our business, while maturing their skills over time in to automated, DevOps engineering focused responsibilities.

Required:
  • Good experience with Windows-based infrastructures; proven infrastructure support
  • Debugging skills
  • Experience in .NET environments
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues such as find the answer to questions like: "Why is this site slow"; "why is this broken"
  • Team player, comfortable and experienced wearing many hats

Strongly Preferred:
  • Knowledge of continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Code Pipeline
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud platform offerings
  • Hands on knowledge of scripting languages such as Java , JavaScript, Perl, Ruby, Python , PHP, Groovy, Bash
  • Hands on experience with relational databases such as SQL, MySQL

Responsibilities:
  • Windows / Infrastructure support in a .NET / AWS environment
  • Debug / discover / remedy issues
  • Understand the WHY behind something not functioning properly and work to fix it
  • Participates in the automation, deployment, debugging, and maintenance of software code to build and deploy business applications
  • Works with AppDev teams to understand problems with software build and deployments
  • Help AppDev create Build/Application/Database servers for Business Application based on documentation provided
  • Develops and maintain deployment Framework for application and database automations.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience
  • 1-3+ years of directly related experience
