Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning, technical onboarding, and headcount allocations for all technical departments at Facebook. We work with stakeholders and partners across the company to accomplish our mission of planning and shaping Facebook's technical workforce. We drive workforce strategy, anticipate and solve talent supply-demand challenges, and execute scalable programs. On Mission Control (MC) you will see a direct link between your work and the impact on company growth.

We are looking for an individual with experience managing multiple projects to deliver tooling solutions that support our mission. The individual must have strong abilities to communicate, collaborate and lead cross-functional project teams. A proven track record in solving complex problems and handling ambiguity is a must. This is a full-time position reporting the manager of Mission Control Tooling.

  • Manage intake and prioritization of tooling requests.
  • Interface with business owners and product teams to define project scope and requirements.
  • Define and manage project milestones and ensure on-time delivery of multiple projects under the program.
  • Provide hands-on project management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
  • Perform risk management and execute change management for tooling project implementation.
  • Provide day-to-day consulting on tooling and processes that support our program operations.
  • Facilitate regular cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment on deliverables, timelines and share status updates.

  • B.S. in a technical discipline such as Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Applications & Systems Development or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years' experience in technical program/product management or systems integration
  • Communication skills with experience leading and collaborating in cross functional teams
  • Experience with tooling development and partnering with business intelligence teams to build data infrastructure foundation
  • Organizational and coordination skills along with multi-tasking capabilities to get things done in a fast-paced environment
