Position #: 2020-1606 Title: Clinical Research Assistant Department: Clinical Research Center Status: Part time 32 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM -2:30 PM. Schedule is negotiable. Overview:

The Clinical Research Assistants primary responsibility is unit flow and organization, and to support the work of the Clinical Research Centers nurses and study staff. This position is based in an outpatient research clinic and requires regular communication with multi-disciplinary research personnel including physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, coordinators and other research assistants. Responsibilities:

Computer-based tasks include:

o managing the clinic calendar using Microsoft Outlook

o data entry into Excel spreadsheets

Attention to detail

Provide organizational and customer service skills

Perform certain patient care activities including:

o blood draws

o prepping patient roomsRequirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is required; bachelors degree strongly preferred

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel is required

Experience in health care or research preferred

Medical Assistant-Registered application submitted within 90 days of hire

Basic Life Support training required within 90 days of hire
