You will be part of a small high-impact team working heavily with AWS technologies to deliver federated GraphQL and Elastic Search based software. It's a fun and fast paced environment with an exposure to working across Amazon businesses on a global scale. You will collaborate with engineers, product & program management, content editors and UX designers to make swift but data driven decisions that result in high quality customer features.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of experience contributing to the system design or architecture (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
  • 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Computer Science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
  • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or C#
  • Experience with AWS technologies such as CloudFront, ALB, WAF, Lambda, Elastic Search and CDK
  • Experience with GraphQL schema design and resolver implementation
  • Design and development of high-volume multi-tiered distributed software applications
  • Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • Passion for movies, TV and entertainment
