TITLE

: QA Engineer, Financial Services Platform

LOCATION

: Remote and then onsite in Seattle or Minneapolis or New York City, POST-COVID, (must be willing to work ONSITE) in one of those locations, unable to sponsor now, unable to sponsor in future, no c2c

COMPENSATION

: Range of ($90K/YR to $110K/YR); |

Target Bonus: 0-10% range, 5% target Excellent Benefits!

DAY-TO-DAY

: You will support the Financial Apps section of the organization. Streamline communications between the business and userbase, including User Acceptance Testing. Reporting to the QA Manager you will test in-house applications along with the design, construction, and support of in-house Financial Apps within the team and relative to other end users. The QA Engineer works within various project teams to deliver results that fit within organizational applications with the provision of enhancements and added features as needed to augment the original strategies and standards. The QA Engineer collaborates with development and infrastructure teams along with Information Security, DevOps, SRE, etc.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Gather requirements, execute test scenarios

Communicator to other areas of the business on behalf of the test team

Issue management from a testing aspect

Create, monitor, and support test automation framework

Maintenance, design, and development of test automation suites

Functional Testing, Exploratory Testing, UAT, and Test Automation

Test Software with a standard for excellence for Financial Applications

Make test contributions in collaboration with throughout the application including the User Interface, databases, etc.

Work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders in an Agile Environment implementing changes when necessary to the web applications and overall design of Financial Products and Services

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum of 3+ years of experience in QA, Testing as it relates to Engineering
Experience in the Financial Services Industry &/or other related industries
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science &/or another related Discipline
Experience as a pivotal part of the development cycle from beginning to end
Understands testing (black/white box, functional, system, etc.)
Proven track record of solid test strategy and the demonstrated ability to build test cases for custom solutions
Expertise in Web App testing including APIs, large datasets, etc.
Multiple years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of test automation suites
Knowledge sharing
Other Technologies: C#, CI/CD, SQL, (SOA & Cloud technologies are a huge plus!)
