Experienced and motivated Commercial Building Engineer wanted for a commercial multi-building office campus. Operate, maintain, and repair building HVAC systems to optimal operations as well as building equipment and systems while providing a professional demeanor responding to tenants, staff, vendors, and contractors.

This FULL-TIME position offers competitive compensation, benefits (medical, dental, vision), paid time off, and paid holidays.

Responsibilities:

- Manage equipment such as cooling towers, air handlers and chillers, water treatment, compressors, pumps, piping, valves, etc. while performing minor maintenance and coordination of major repairs with vendors.

- Monitor and manage building automation system(s).

- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC system and water source heat pumps.

- Support for operation and maintenance of fire and life safety systems and response.

- Share responsibility for emergency on-call response duties.

- Perform scheduled and routine maintenance, repair misc. building systems through work orders including minor door repair, electrical bulb and ballast replacement, plumbing clogs and leaks, etc.

Qualifications:

- Vocational or other educational training and relevant building operations and maintenance experience.

- Trouble shooting and problem-solving skills.

- Self-starting team player that can function independently as well as collaboratively.

- Positive customer service skills and attitude.

- Able to follow written and oral instructions and communicate effectively utilizing Word, and Outlook.

- Ability to keep simple records of activities performed.

- Electrical license is a plus.

Required Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Valid driver's license required to travel from building to building.

Physical Demands:

This is a labor position and is considered light to moderate physical demand with occasional heavy physical demand. Requirements include the ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, extend arms and hands forward and overhead, finger and grasp, work on/from a ladder, lift 50-lbs. Must be able to bend, crouch or stoop.
