A local service provider of Security, CCTV, Access Control, networked solutions and advanced systems for specialty retail stores, quick-service restaurants, supermarkets, hospitality and financial institutions has immediate openings for Security Service Technicians.
The ideal candidate would have experience in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting low voltage cable systems (e.g. CAT5 & CAT6, Coax, etc.) and installation/configuration of equipment.
Typical tasks include:
Cabling rough-in and termination
Cabling testing and documentation
Build-out of MDF and IDF (racks, patch panels, wire managers, network electronics, etc.)
Installation and on-site configuration/setup of equipment including ALARM SYSTEMS, ACCESS CONTROL, FIRE, CCTV EQUIPMENT, computer terminals, DVR's, NVR'S, and wireless RF units (e.g. WiFi AP's, etc.).
Required skills/certifications:
Experience in a lead tech role preferred but Not necessary.
Basic PC configuration skills (setting IP addresses, pinging equipment, circuit testing, etc. is preferred)
Must have a good driving record, Valid Driver's License and can Pass Drug and Background check
Must have a Current EL-06 License in good standing.
