We are hiring for a Mechanical Service Sprinkler Fitter Apprentice to join our growing team!
In this role, you will:
Assist with service, inspection and repair of water-based fire sprinkler systems
Daily submission of required paperwork requested
Perform duties in accordance with company’s safety policy
Perform other duties as requested
We are looking for the following:
Internal drive, accountability, persistence and a “customer first” attitude
Exceptional communication, organizational skills and attention-to-detail a must
Professional presentation at all times
Strong understanding of the service process
Flexibility with work hours and willingness to work in an on-call rotation
Maintain, and when required, obtain licenses and certifications
Ability to learn new skills and technology
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Frequently lift and carry toolboxes, equipment, parts and tools, cabling, and/or wiring.
Frequently climb a ladder, while climbing, checking, and pulling wire, etc.
Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, and raising hands overhead.
Driving is required and drive time may vary.
Meet requirements and remain compliant at all times with all applicable health and safety regulations and/or policies for this position in accordance with safety standards, including the proper wear and use of PPE (Personal Protection Equipment), as well as any established practices that are COVID-19 related.
Working Conditions:
On-call rotation once per month
Overtime may be required and the number of hours may vary, based on work location.
May be exposed to fluctuating work environments, varying from hot to cold temperatures and exposure to dust.
Occasional travel overnight to a customer location.
