Sound Power is hiring a Journeyman Residential Electrician (01/02)
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Residential service and remodel work: circuits, lighting, receptacles, GFCI/AFCI issues
Panel and subpanel upgrades, load calculations, labeling, and neat terminations
EV charger installs, generator hookups, transfer switches, and basic backup power systems
Working independently and, when needed, leading an apprentice/helper
Communicating clearly with homeowners about findings, options, and next steps
Taking photos, writing brief job notes, and coordinating with the office on materials and scheduling
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Current 01 or 02 Journeyman Electrician License
Strong residential experience: service, trim, troubleshooting
Solid NEC and local code knowledge
You show up, finish what you start, and stand behind your work
Clean, organized workmanship – your panel work and terminations actually look good
Able to talk to homeowners with respect, confidence, and professionalism
We’re looking for someone who treats each job like it has their name on it.
