International Freight Forwarding Company is looking for motivated individuals for an Air Export/Import Operator position to coordinate daily shipments to/from Asia in efficient and timely manner to meet our customers needs. Familiarity with Asian cultures preferred.
Responsibilities:
All the necessary tasks to execute the job such as
- Respond to customers inquiries & shipping instructions
- Pickup/receive shipments, arrange transportation, deliver shipments to Airport
- Receive parts into system accurately enter data to the system
- Create shipping documents
- Prepare shipments along with necessary documents and labels
- Communicate with customers for inquiries, shipping instructions/notifications, and resolving issues
- Communicate with vendors for shipping information/instructions and resolving issues
- Communicate with airlines for booking/rate information
Requirements:
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office etc.)
- Good Communication Skills
- Ability to work independently/in a team environment
- Drivers License
- Authorized to work in US
