This role involves maintaining our produce department, ensuring the highest standards of freshness and presentation, and delivering exceptional customer service. As a Produce Clerk at the Markets you will:
Design and maintain attractive produce displays, showcasing a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
Implement protocols to maintain produce quality, ensuring items are fresh and minimizing waste.
Apply best practices for handling and storing produce to maximize freshness and shelf life.
Assist with daily tasks including cutting, trimming, and packaging produce.
Adhere to The Market’s high standards for presentation and quality.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and incorporating feedback into product offerings.
You will need:
Strong understanding of produce handling and storage techniques.
Familiarity with a wide range of fruits and vegetables.
Proficient in the use of food-preparation materials and equipment.
Proven ability to deliver high-quality customer service.
