Island Hospital is an integral part of the great quality of life in Anacortes, WA and we are actively recruiting for a full time, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) at our Psychiatry and Behavioral Health Clinic!
The LPN /RN contributes to the patient care experience working beside our four providers by providing direct patient care, managing patient flow in the Clinic, and serving as a patient advocate at all times.
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Registered Nurse or Licensed practicing Nurse Program.
Current WA State Certification as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practicing Nurse (LPN) license.
Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience working with psychiatry patients and In-patient psychiatry experience strongly preferred.
Experience in conflict resolution and de-escalation during stressful situations preferred.
