Sunrise Services is in need of a Medical Assistant for our mental health program. This position will complete administrative and clinical tasks to support our Psychiatric ARNP and Mental Health Professionals. Duties may include: Collect initial demographic and health related data from clients, obtain blood pressure, heart rate, weight and other bio-medical information, administer injectable medications to clients, complete authorization and reauthorization requests to insurance entities for prescribed medications, and coordination of care with clients, families, caregivers, primary care providers, pharmacies, residential providers (adult family homes, skilled nursing facilities), etc.
This position is based in Mount Vernon, WA.
This position requires that candidates be Certified Medical Assistants, or the ability to become certified, with both clinical and administrative skills and experience. Mental Health experience, preferred but not required. Must have a clean driving record.
Wages: Competitive salary with medical, dental, paid vacation, sick and holidays plus generous 401(k) (currently matching 50%).
