Sunrise Services is in need of a Medical Assistant for the Community Mental Health Clinic.
These positions will complete administrative and clinical tasks to support prescribers and mental health clinicians. Duties may include: Collect initial demographic and health related data from community mental health clients prior to appointments with prescribers, obtain blood pressure, heart rate, weight and other bio-medical information from clients prior to appointments with prescribers, administer injectable medications to assigned community mental health clients, complete authorization and reauthorization requests to insurance entities for prescribed medications for community mental health clients. This position is located in Mt Vernon, WA.
This position requires that candidates be Certified Medical Assistants with both clinical and administrative skills and experience. Mental Health experience is preferred but not required.
Wages: $16 an hour dependent on experience with medical, dental, paid vacation, sick and holidays plus generous 401(k) (currently matching 50%) and monthly bonus.
