Island Hospital is an integral part of the great quality of life in Anacortes, WA and we are actively recruiting for a part time, Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) at our Anacortes Family Medicine Clinic supporting the Walk-In Clinic.
The MA-C or LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care needs for patients while working within the scope of the individual's nursing license. This position uses critical thinking and appropriate provider consultation to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
Current WA State Certification as a Medical Assistant Certified (MA-C) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license.
Must maintain active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Experience working in an out-patient Physician practice preferred.
