Position Overview:
Integrity Stonework is seeking a motivated and reliable Shop Helper to join our team. The Shop Helper will support the daily operations of the workshop by assisting with the preparation, assembly, and maintenance of stone products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in the stonework industry while contributing to a dynamic and hardworking team.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the preparation and handling of stone materials (e.g., cutting, shaping, polishing)
Help organize and maintain inventory in the workshop
Perform general cleanup and maintenance of the workshop, ensuring safety and cleanliness at all times
Assist with loading and unloading stone materials
Follow safety guidelines and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Assist stoneworkers and other team members with various tasks as needed
Operate basic workshop equipment under supervision
Support the team in preparing orders for delivery and installation
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a warehouse, construction, or manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods
Basic knowledge of hand tools and workshop equipment is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
Positive attitude, reliable, and punctual
