New Leaf is currently hiring for our Grounds Maintenance crew. This is a day position, starting at 8AM until about 4:30PM with a half hour lunch. (35-40 hours a week)
Potential for Winter layoff October-March depending on work load.

Pay: 15.47/Hour plus excellent benefits package.
Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
ï§ Performs mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, aeration and fertilization; weed and brush control; flower bed services; tree and shrub pruning; debris and ditch cleanup.
ï§ Maintains all grounds and road shoulders in specified areas.
ï§ Picks up and removes all rubbish, debris, and trash, which includes but is not limited to rocks, paper, pine, limbs and other portable objects.
ï§ Trims and prunes shrubs, ground covers, native plants, and trees planted in improved grounds according to their natural growth habit for proper health, attractive appearance in the appropriate season.
ï§ Cleans and maintains tools and equipment.
Training will be provided.
Qualifications
ï§ Some prior experience operating lawn mowers and trimmers preferred, but not required
ï§ Ability to pass NAS Whidbey Background check at time of hire and for duration of employment. Felonies will prohibit base access.
ï§ A clean driving record and valid driver's license preferred, but not required.
