Are you looking for a fun and rewarding afterschool job? Do you enjoy animals? A local veterinary clinic is looking for a kennel tech! This job is 3-4 hours a day, 3-4 days a week, including some Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kennels, runs, and exam rooms.
Disinfect surfaces and equipment to prevent the spread of illness.
Launder kennel bedding, towels, and other linens.
Dispose of medical waste according to safety protocols.
Replenish pet supplies like bedding, food, and water bowls.
Report any unusual pet behavior or health concerns to veterinary staff.
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with staff and clients.
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation.
Attention to details and a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
Compassion for animals and a genuine interest in their well-being.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
