LEAD EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING TECH SUMMARY:
A national sod company is offering career opportunities to an Equipment Maintenance Techs who would be responsible for performing maintenance duties as assigned. Maintains a safe working environment according to company policies at all times.
LEAD EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING TECH REQUIREMENTS:
Must be computer literate
STRONG mechanical, electrical, welding and PLC experience
Some purchasing experience and knowledge with managing budget.
High School Diploma or GED
Entry level experience
Electrical troubleshooting, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repair experience preferred
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to climb platforms, ladders to make repairs
Ability to ready numbers and product descriptions
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
Ability to maintain written records
Ability to push buttons, monitor controls
Ability to lead and direct associates
May be required to have own basic set of tools
LEAD EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURING TECH RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:
Performs repair and maintenance on parts of equipment and machines including electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs
May maintain records of jobs performed in order to develop a history of repairs so that preventative maintenance can be performed
May perform or assist in the installation of machinery and equipment-
Assists workers in diagnosing malfunctions in machinery and equipment
Keeps work area clean, orderly and safe
Inspects and adjusts equipment
