Summary:
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk is responsible for all functions and paperwork related to receiving, as well as, errand running as needed/requested. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will operate machinery, including forklifts in a safe and proper manner. The Shipping and Receiving Clerk also supports the Purchaser by buying supplies for the company to use in the production of goods, as well as, for general business operations as directed.
Required Education, Skill, & Experience:
ï· Must be at least 21 years of age (Employee Driving Policy).
ï· Valid Driver's license
ï· High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
ï· Must be able to frequently lift 25 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
ï· Basic math and recording abilities
ï· Working knowledge of computers (i.e. Microsoft Office software)
Preferred Requirements
ï· Current Forklift Certification
ï· Bi-lingual a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Time will be spent between the front office and a manufacturing facility. Lifting and moving of heavy objects will be required. Must have good eyesight, normal hand-eye coordination, fair mental capacity, and the ability to communicate with others.
This position may be exposed to the chemicals used in fiberglass processes, which can be personally hazardous. Proper handling and use of correct PPE is required.
PPE and appropriate training is provided for all employees.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, Non-Exempt, Hourly Position - Paid bi-weekly
5/8s, 40 hours/week
