5 days Thursday - Monday 35-40 hours/week.
Responsible for:
Preparing orders to supply farmers markets, keeping product for markets supplied and organized.
Maintaining and replenishing supplies and support materials needed for markets.
Attending to returns from markets.
Entering sales of weekend markets in Quickbooks on Monday mornings.
Overseeing unloading crew for markets and giving them direction and support when their shifts start.
Help with packing of cheese.
Advise owner on needs of product, supplies, and equipment for markets.
Keeping meat organized for markets and retail shop.
Keeping barn warehouse area clean and organized.
Helping to keep retail shop supplied.
Some scheduled hours of sales in retail shop.
Back-up for farmer market sales to cover for vacation and sick leave.
Keeping tabs on truck maintenance.
Keeping trucks clean and supplies for them organized.
Must have basic skill with Microsoft Excel.
Physically strong, able to handle lifting 60 lb.
Clean driving record.
