Position Description:

This full time position offers an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional in the specialty food industry.

Job Responsibilities and Description:

The Wholesale Sales Account Manager position is responsible for new account development and current account growth in both the retail and food service channels.

Sales functions include: account management, order entry, managing account promotional programs, regularly scheduled sales calls and travel.

Travel will be required for key account meetings and presentations, trade shows, distributor sales meetings, trainings, ride-alongs and distributor shows as needed. May include, but will not be limited to 5 days for trade shows and 4-5 days for customer visits.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter who works well in teams and has a track record of success. Additionally, the following job-specific skills are critical to the Wholesale Sales Account Manager:

Ability to build win-win relationships with new clients, plus maintain/grow long-term existing client base

Ability to balance multiple priorities and handle a strong workload

Ability to think and communicate clearly and execute consistently

Ability to prioritize and have strong time/cost management sense

Must have PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)

Must have proven problem-solving skills

Must have demonstrated excellent written and verbal skills

Strong phone conversational skills are essential

Must have an excellent work record with references from current and/or previous employers

Physical requirements: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Position requires physical set up and tear down of show booths, and lifting sample cases. Must have the ability to withstand vehicle & air travel for long hours. Must be able to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time.

SeaBear offers professional development and job-specific training including: Brand Training, Persuasive Selling.

Compensation

Salary DOE plus ability to earn quarterly sales incentive (10% of wages) and all company bonus plan potential (0-4 weeks of current pay), as well as 401k, medical-dental-vision, and vacation as outlined in the employee manual.
