Edge Analytical Laboratories is hiring a Part-Time Sample Receiving Clerk at its Burlington laboratory. Approx. 20 hrs/week with a flexible schedule.
Primary duties will include:
-Unpacking water and other environmental samples
-Handling walk-in customers
-Triage of samples and project folders
-Glassware dish-washing and providing assistance to shipping department
-Other duties as assigned
Applicants must possess at minimum High School diploma or equivalent. Need to have the ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions. Position requires a lot of standing, lifting, and bending. Work requires dealing with hazardous materials and some chemical use. Knowledge of basic chemistry, or quick learner, required. Need to be able to prioritize well, work efficiently and independently, and communicate effectively. High attention to detail is necessary. Position is open immediately. Must have availability from June 24 July 5 (excluding July 4). Edge Analytical is a drug free workplace.
