Position open for administrative assistant to support a registered Financial Advisor in Coeur d'Alene, ID. The successful candidate will be registered with Series 7 and 63 securities registrations, or will agree to take the necessary action to be registered within 6 months of hire. The position is full-time at 35 hours per week.

BUSINESS

The Financial Advisor operates a financial services business in Coeur d'Alene. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, the Financial Advisor assists clients in developing and executing strategies across all facets of investment management through professional representation. Client financial goals and concerns are the priority through local business ownership, while utilizing the technology and resources of a national firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Complete forms and documents for client accounts.

- Foster client relationships and service work through frequent personal and media contact.

- Communicate with national and regional offices and prepare documentation for administrative purposes.

- Maintain client service calendars.

- Business development through new client acquisition.

- Complete all necessary compliance requirements.

- Maintain file systems, undertake photocopying and processing of checks.

- Enter securities orders, with administrative follow up.

- Provide market data and security research to clients and staff.

- Maintain procedure files.

- Oversee office supplies.

- Handle the business finances, through QuickBooks, online banking and manual checking .

- Handle the personal family finances of the Financial Advisor together with other administrative tasks as needed.

- Proactively suggest administrative processes and financial services which would benefit clients.

- Work professionally, independently and with a positive attitude.

- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

- Two year associate's degree or four year bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience.

- Past work experience with a national broker-dealer, would be helpful

- Exceptional client service abilities

- Excellent technology skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Salesforce and QuickBooks.

- Ability to interact professionally and positively with clients, management and other staff

- Organized and efficient work ethic, strong attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to multi-task.
