Tri State Distributors, Inc. is an established regional wholesale distributor, supplying appliances, hearth products, outdoor living products and luxury products to retailers. We are seeking candidates for an Customer Service Representative. Our office is very friendly and we strive to provide an enjoyable work atmosphere. If you are a self-starter who can communicate effectively and accurately, you will be a great addition to our team!

Responsibility & Duties:

Process and assist in creating orders

Manage calls on multiple phone lines

Communicate with retail dealers

Performing other duties as assigned

Practice punctual and reliable attendance

Qualifications:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) minimum

Professional attitude, both in the office and over the phone

Must have strong communication and organizational skills

Quick learner

Ability to accurately input sales data

Strong computer skills

Must have dependable transportation

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in HVAC, Propane Hearth, Grill sales, or parts departments

Experience using Sage 100 or MAS 200

Experience taking orders over the phone and creating orders with an ERP system

Helpful and cheerful attitude

Hours:

This is a full time, 40 hours per week position. Typically scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No evenings or weekends required.

Compensation:

Compensation DOE, plus benefit dollars available after 90 day probationary period. We offer several benefits including a 401(k) plan with employer matching contributions, medical & dental insurance, FSA plan, company paid life insurance, and paid vacation and holidays. First year employees receive 1.5 weeks of paid vacation, which can increase to 4 weeks of paid vacation with time. Vacation time and benefit dollars increase with each year of employment with the Company.
