Job Details

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sr. Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in the Engineering industry. This is a permanent position that requires a minimum of 10+ years of experience in geotechnical engineering. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, laboratory testing, subsurface explorations, foundation engineering, and pavement design. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will work on a variety of projects including commercial, retail, energy, industrial, municipal, water, and wastewater.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct geotechnical investigations, laboratory testing, and subsurface explorations to evaluate soil and rock properties
  • Develop and implement geotechnical design and analysis for foundation systems, retaining structures, and pavement design
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and provide recommendations for site development and construction projects
  • Manage and coordinate field investigations, including drilling and sampling, and laboratory testing programs
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure project success
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and clients
  • Maintain knowledge of industry standards and regulations and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering emphasis
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the state of Washington
  • 10+ years of related experience such as pavement design, foundation engineering, laboratory testing, and subsurface explorations.
