Description:Summary: The Controller is responsible for the preparation of financial statements and all accounting and credit operations of the company. The position is responsible for the financial integrity and accuracy through daily management of General Accounting, Payroll and Cash Management, problem-solving processes, and strong internal controls. It also will be responsible for developing and maintaining ERP cost accounting functions, and managerial reporting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Accounting Assisting with the preparation and review of monthly statements including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained. Oversee account reconciliations such as bank and bank card statements. Managing fixed asset database for corporate and coordinating with subsidiaries to ensure accuracy and compliance for fixed assets. Assisting with corporate cash flow and cash management. Assisting with a wide array of recurring projects including inventory, capital investment decisions, and plan benefit administration. Assisting with implementation and maintenance an effective ERP system. Implementing, documenting, and maintaining adequate and effective internal controls. Implementing, documenting and maintaining adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting. Calculating and issuing financial and operating metrics. Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.Credit Management Managing credit processes, including reference checks, approval, problem solving and perform all credit functions. Managing accounts receivables, AR month end processes, and prepare purchase money security packets. Answering and researching Dealer and Distributor telephone calls in connection with Credit. Cost Accounting Analyzing raw material purchases, inventory and labor and coordinating changes to improve efficiencies. Evaluating actual manufacturing costs, standard costs, and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services. Perform quarterly cost rolls and periodic margin analysis Classifying costs accurately, rates of depreciation, labor and overhead and suggesting policy changes to improve numbers.Experience Level:Expert LevelAbout Aston Carter: Please Note: Scammers are posing as Aston Carter.
