DescriptionThis posting is for the Onsite Hiring Event that will be held on August 1, 2024 in Spokane, WA.Apply to the position if you want to advance directly to the hiring manager for an interview on August 1, 2024.The Security Officer receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a variety of security protective duties to protect patients, visitors, staff, physicians, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry. Enforces Providence Health Care, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct against PHC staff, visitors, staff, and property; responds and assists in restraining patients; detains individuals when necessary or at the direction of a police officer; and provides protective services to high risk areas. 1 year of Law Enforcement/Security/Military experience or 2 years of work experience in a healthcare setting, or related college coursework deemed relevant to position
Preferred qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Criminal justice, History, or English
Prior experience in healthcare setting
