The Integrated Supply Chain engineering organization designs and enables our factories to drive world-class operational performance to deliver products that delight our customers. This is a high-visibility position in a winning team! This Senior Automation Engineering role will be part of a team driving the critical automation projects in our Advanced Materials plants, factories and supply chain in support of our manufacturing transformation. This leader will drive manufacturing process improvements, working with manufacturing engineers in our sites as well as with suppliers, and lead key automation and digitization projects in multiple sites. This leader will work with operations teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution aligned to our strategic transformation priorities. Travel 25% of the time Key Responsibilities Drives ISC functional teams (Operations, Finance, Quality, Materials, Engineering, etc.) to Deliver productivity savings resulting from the implementation of Automation projects
Drives ISC teams for Automation projects launches to achieve 100% Say/Do in Launching Phase – Launch Date, Cost, First Pass Yield, Cycle time, OEE
Assure Automation process adherence by participating in Automation Projects phase gate meetings, and vote go/no-go for each phase
Leads Automation viability analysis review meetings, and confirm project is viable financially and technically, opposite case recommend process improvement actions
Assures processes are optimized (waste eliminated) prior to automating
Assists factory AME groups with the identification of opportunities for Automation
Champions design for automation reviews, and assure all teams meet with the Automation Development Specification criteria.
Create and manage MOS to ensure execution of projects
Benchmark and evaluate leading edge technology.
Collaborate with NPI and Factory teams to create equipment standards
Idea generation/Project Opportunities Identification
Brainstorm solutions
Team coordination
Risk analysis
Process definition
Project planning/management
Cost improvement analysis
Drive technical solutions
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
5 Years with implementing Automated solutions
2 years of Lean Manufacturing Experience

Greenbelt/DFSS certified
Willingness to learn new technologies
Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work
Proficient project management skills

Microsoft Project proficient
