Pend Oreille County Fire District 2 (POCFD2) is hiring a full time Paramedic and a part time Paramedic to work in a 911 and medical transport system. POCFD2 operates 3 ambulances out of 6 stations, with flexible shifts, which provide 911 and medical transports to primarily Pend Oreille, Stevens, and Spokane County. POCFD2 offers competitive pay, health insurance, 401k, among other benefits. POCFD2 operates ambulances in conjunction with WA State DNR on wildland mobilizations. We offer training in Technical Rope Rescue, Marine operations, and opportunities to get training certifications and train others in both Fire and Medical skills.
