WestCoast Entertainment (WCE) is an independent presenter of national touring Broadway productions, concerts, and other special events. Based in Spokane, WCE presents the yearly STCU Best of Broadway series.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as liaison between WCE and tour press agents regarding all details of event advertising campaigns.
  • Organize all details, invoices and back-up necessary for the show/tour Advertising Settlements.
  • Manage grassroots and earned media promotions.
  • Manage the creation of digital ads, flyers, window clings and other necessary collateral.
  • Develop all show programs/playbills including creating copy and assisting with advertising sales and renewals.
  • Assist with new season development, season ticket retention efforts and announcement planning.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and partners and communicate details, special offers and deadlines.
  • Manage print vendor relationships and coordinate bidding process when necessary.
  • Manage community engagement programs and promotional opportunities including area universities and colleges.
  • Manage social media campaigns and PR efforts.
  • Manage WCE website and email marketing including content creation.
  • Serve as a liaison for WCE graphic designers.
  • Work with box office, call center and ticketing teams on guest service programs, marketing synergies and initiatives.
  • Assist with sponsor sales and fulfillment as well as group sales programs.
  • Assist with special events as necessary.
  • Represent WestCoast Entertainment in the form of membership in industry organizations.
  • Organize and manage ASL interpreters for all events.
  • Other duties as assigned or as needed.

Qualifications:

Position Requisites:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.
  • Minimum 3 years marketing experience including live event promotions preferred.
  • Experience with all forms of media including print, radio, TV, digital and social.
  • Computer skills: Graphic and design software proficiency a plus.
  • Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public.
  • Ability to communicate and develop an effective working relationship with fellow employees and supervisors.
  • Ability to prioritize, maintain composure under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Organized, detail oriented and self-motivated.
  • Ability to work irregular hours due to specific event schedules which may require some nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with co-workers and patrons.
