NOW HIRING AT BADGER BUILDING CENTER AT OUR 3 IDAHO STORES
Badger Building Center is looking for candidates for a retail sales position at our locations in Idaho. We have stores in Post Falls, Sagle, and Bonners Ferry. Candidates must have a great attitude, be customer service oriented, and be willing to learn about our products and services. We are a Drug Free Workplace.
ALL IN A DAYS WORK
CUSTOMER FOCUSED: Badger Building Center cares about our customers happiness at the end of their visit. Have we helped them with their purchase or order? Have we answered all their questions? Did they leave knowing they received the best customer service experience?
PROVIDING SOLUTIONS: Some of our customers know what items they need some dont. Its your job to get them to the solution they need all while providing excellent customer service.
SELLING PRODUCTS: This is an important part of the job. You will need to learn about the merchandise and build confidence with product knowledge while selling our products.
ENGAGING: We expect you to interact with the customers. Asking them about their current projects or building needs. Getting to know them, being able to sell them the best products for their needs. Sales will be a big part of your job.
PHYSICALLY ABLE: You must be able to lift 80 lbs on a consistent basis. Load customer and deliver to job sights. Unloading, counting, and receiving/merchandising new shipments (repetitive heavy lifting required).
WORK SCHEDULE
All our employees are scheduled 40 hour work weeks. The Store hours for both locations are Monday-Friday 7:30-5:00 and Saturdays from 8:00-4:00. We care about our employees and understand it is important to have a life outside of work.
BRINGING HOME THE BACON (COMPENSATION & BENEFITS)
Badger Building Center asks a lot from our employees but we also give a lot back. We have very competitive wages starting hourly at $11-$13. This is determined on experience and prior work history. Badger offers Medical/ Dental/ Vision insurance after 60 days of full time employment. Badger also offers Simply IRA which we match up to 3% and this can begin at first day of employment. Badger offers PTO depending on the length in time you are employed. Badger Building Center believes in promoting within.
