Find your future with us.The C-40A Program is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer for the Integration Team (SEIT) engineer to support the Program. Selected candidate will be exposed to all aspects of the aircraft life cycle including proposal, requirements development, BCA integration, design, production, modification, test, delivery and sustainment.The Boeing C-40A Program supports the United States Navy (USN) by providing 737NG commercial derivative aircraft, including modifications, sustainment, maintenance planning, and engineering support. The C-40A is a Multi-Role aircraft capable of all-cargo, all-passenger or combination cargo/passenger configurations. The current C-40A USN fleet is made up of 17 aircraft.Successful candidates must be capable of high level, cross-functional coordination and integration with the USN program office and operators, 737 BCA production/Customer Engineering, supply base, Boeing design centers, and the BGS San Antonio Modification facility personnel.Position Responsibilities:Assist in developing proposals to provide new or updated capabilities to the C-40A fleet

Support fleet level modification programs

Support new aircraft build and testing in the BCA factory, military modification efforts at the Boeing San Antonio modification center, and field modifications at USN facilities

Review engineering drawings and work with design, Liaison and Manufacturing Engineering, Quality inspectors, and operations teams to resolve issues

Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity.

We are looking for a positive, self-motivated team player who can work with all levels of personnel internal and external to Boeing

Must have the ability to multi-task with a broad spectrum of duties

This is a hybrid position that allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

Experience working on Boeing commercial aircraft

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience working with customers

Experience in a role that required excellent communication, project management, presentation, and facilitation skills, and the ability to effectively work in a team environment

Experience with modifications and testing of previously delivered aircraft

Familiarity with the Boeing 737NG

Mechanical or electrical systems design background

Current Secret Clearance

Experience with FAA and military certification
