Are you looking for an exciting challenge with the opportunity to have a real impact in how applications and services are accessed by more than 160,000 unique users per month?The Service Integration Engineering team leads the development and standardization of new platforms, technologies, and services for our Epic Electronic Medical Record Infrastructure and Citrix Virtual Application and Desktop delivery teams. This encompasses deployments across both on-premise and a growing Azure cloud ecosystem. The solutions we develop and standardize are core in the delivery of many of our Clinical and Revenue Cycle applications. Our areas of focus include leading adoption of Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) services, testing and exploring new platform standards, internal tool development, Automation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), We leverage our expertise in these areas to accelerate adoption in these areas across our broader Epic Infrastructure and Citrix/VDI teams.Senior Cloud Engineers for the Service Integration Engineering team will work with their colleagues in developing these solutions. Engineers in this role perform solution design, architectural review, implement proof-of-concepts, standardize solutions, and develop operational handoff of solutions. In this role you will work with SMEs from other teams in Providence such as Security, Networking, Cloud Engineering, Applications, and Business Intelligence to align solutions and designs with Enterprise standards and drive development forward.Required qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent educ/experience.

5 years of related experience; 5-8 years preferred.

Good experience leveraging data and metrics to drive behavior, process, and priority decisions. Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. Experience in problem solving using systematic procedures and investigating problems utilizing root cause analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in a Healthcare environment.

Experience designing and deploying solutions in public cloud environments – Microsoft Azure preferred.

Experience developing Infrastructure as Code and Desired State Configuration Tools using Hashicorp Terraform and Ansible.

Familiarity with functions and features of common Enterprise network infrastructure devices including firewalls, load-balancers, DHCP/DNS/IPAM, and other devices.

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

Experience in one Epic ECSA or ODBA experience or familiarity with the architecture of Epic EMR deployments.

Experience with Citrix/VMware/Microsoft Desktop and Application Virtualization technologies such as Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, VMware Horizon, or Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.

Familiarity with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
