ResponsibilitiesInsures completion of necessary information from entry sheet and medication orders for data entry and account setup in AS400 system. Review and route documents through Docutrak system to appropriate department

Verifies payers and demographic information. Where applicable, fill in gaps in demographic information

Works with internal and external customers to resolve assigned accounts. Productivity records will be maintained

Works with Admissions Director/Supervisor in researching pharmacy accounts requiring special attention and taking all necessary action to ensure accuracy of data being entered

Works with Admissions Director/Supervisor and other members of the management team on special projects as needed

Performs other tasks as assigned

QualificationsRequired: High School Diploma or equivalent

Required: 1-year data entry experience

Desired: 1-year billing and/or collections experience, or 1-year experience in the healthcare industry

Required: 10-Key by touch, data entry, MS Excel and Word and basic computer knowledge

Desired: Benefits investigation knowledge
