Business Analyst Beaverton, Oregon Contract 12 Months +

Experience with enterprise-level heavy duty data integrations and corresponding API's, including integration with 3 rd party vendors for enterprise to vendor API requests and responses.

Experience with full implementation cycles, from project start through the finish into a warranty support period. Cloud experience important. Azure is a plus. Does not need to be told how to write user stories. Can drop into a project mid-stream. Experience with credit or financial systems, including underwriting, desired but not a deal breaker. Summary: The Business Analyst will function as the primary point of contact between Information Technology and internal lines of business within Client. The ideal candidate will understand our client's Information Technology needs, translate those into structured requirements to enable story creation that feeds delivery teams operating in agile Scrum, Kanban and traditional waterfall. This position works with a cross-functional team(s) consisting of engineers, vendors, business, and operations representatives. This position requires collaborating with a wide variety of technical and business stakeholders to deliver high quality product and process descriptions, business and functional requirements, testing, and assist in the development of business cases. Clear and thorough documentation of information is a key aspect of the role.

As our Business Analyst you will: • Organize and facilitate the development of business ideas into business and functional requirements that can be distilled into epics and MVP's. • Proactive approach and communication to stakeholders, keeping them current with status, and quickly escalating issues for help in removing barriers and finding resolutions when needed. • Develop and measure product KPIs, derive key insights, and monitor system performance against objectives. • Work closely with project teams that range from product owners, Scrum teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, and support the development of work plans and cost/benefit analysis. • Contract and vendor management: build partnerships across organizational, departmental, and geographical boundaries.

Accountability: The incumbent must meet work deadlines, have regular attendance, good oral and written communication skills, good interpersonal skills, ability to work with a team, ability to multi-task, use a PC and a computer terminal, and the specialized telephone system. It requires access to all areas of the office, and the ability to sit for extended periods of time, periodically bending and twisting, and frequent application of a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation. The Company will provide reasonable accommodation where necessary. Requirements: • 5+ years professional experience working in, or managing cross-functional teams. • Experience with the Agile framework. • Experience defining and documenting Themes, Epics, and User Stories. • Experience prioritizing and managing backlogs. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written) with a customer service orientation; ability to discuss technical topics with a non-technical audience. • Possess business acumen and have the ability to work closely with all levels of employees and management. • Experience with working with integrated Vendor solutions, managing vendor engagements is a plus. • Experience with business process improvements and methodologies is preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, or related field is preferred. • Experience in financial services or servicing operations desirable. • Experience with building go-to-market strategies and plans is a plus.
