Software Engineer Hillsboro, OR - will start remote then onsite 3/2021 - 12/2021 Rate: $51.09/hr on W2 Description Job description: the open source software mitigations team is looking for an engineer to manage the continuous flow of software that the team develops and to implement new automation mechanisms to enable continuous testing of those software updates. This person will be responsible for creating new solutions that will facilitate the automated execution of some level of validation and performance analysis. This person will also be in charge of validating the Linux kernels that the team develops, creating validation plans, collaborating with other members of the team, and creating scripts that can be then integrated into an automation system. Additional Skills and or education: Expertise in continuous integration systems, scripting using Python or bash. Good working understanding of Git. Previous experience with Linux (management, installing/uninstalling packages) is required. Previous experience with virtualization is recommended. Years of experience required for this position: 3-5 years of experience working with Python, C and Linux. 2-4 years working with Jenkins and/or other CI/CD tools. 1-2 years of experience working with Git. 1-2 years of experience working with bash.
