Head of Corporate BankingThe Head of Corporate Banking role plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of our organization's corporate banking initiatives. This position is responsible for leading a team of relationship managers and executing strategies that foster the expansion and development of client relationships for large privately held and publicly traded companies. This job is responsible for the leadership and administration of the sales and new loan origination process for the company's Corporate Banking lending and deposit programs and is responsible for setting the strategy for short to mid-term execution aimed at driving revenue growth from these programs.Key Responsibilities and Duties

Originates, structures, and executes financing transactions, including subscription finance, project finance, syndicated loans, and structured finance deals.

Ensures compliance with the organization's credit policy and develops processes and scoring models for negotiating loan terms and assessing client risk.

Ensures the business unit achieves its financial projections and assets perform according to original underwriting plans.

Directs the pricing and structuring of all loan opportunities, ensuring business unit yield and advance rates are achieved.

Develops and executes outreach campaigns to increase awareness of our organization's SBA-related offerings and drive engagement from small businesses.

Develops relationships with other internal leaders to identify key risk areas for the organization and evaluates and quantifies their potential impact.

Monitors competitors and peer organizations to stay abreast of emerging trends in the industry and uses this information to secure the competitive position of the organization.

Manages performance of direct reports through regular, timely feedback as well as the formal performance review process to ensure the delivery of credit objectives and the engagement, motivation, and development of the team.
