Job Description

In this compelling leadership position, you will lead the group responsible for collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and aggregating financial information used to inform senior management, including Board of Directors, CEO, and CFO on, forecasting, variance analysis, and emerging financial risks or trends. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders across the enterprise to implement best practices in alignment with dynamic priorities.

The Corporate Finance - Financial Planning and Analysis - Director role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Prepare compelling narratives around financial performance for senior management.
  • Perform financial data analysis in preparing corporate performance summaries.
  • Establish guidelines for coordination and collection of financial input data from different departments.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 8 years

Desired Experiences

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent; Master degree preferred
  • Previous professional experience in a Financial Planning and Analysis function, preferred
  • Experience leading a team, preferred

Skills

  • Collective capabilities for leadership, including leading teams, giving feedback, facilitating meetings, and coaching and mentoring
  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal
  • Experience in the process of analyzing data to identify trends or relationships to inform conclusions about the data
  • Skilled in the graphical representation of information in the form of a charts, diagrams, pictures, and dashboards with programs and tools such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
  • The group of skills related to Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict
  • Experience evaluating businesses, projects, budgets, and other financial entities or instruments to determine viability, stability, and performance
  • Experience forecasting, predicting, and monitoring financials
  • The group of skills related to Business Insight including advising, designing business models, interpreting customer and market insights, forecasting, benchmarking, etc.
  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand
  • The group of skills related to Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.

Tools

  • Skilled in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • Experience in Tableau, PowerBI, or Microstrategy preferred
  • Experience in Anaplan a plus
