Selland Construction has an opening for an accounting team member to work in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Payroll. This is a full time position that requires attention to detail and accuracy. Applicant must have at least 3 years of experience. Experience in construction including Certified Payroll experience and the use of Viewpoint Accounting software a plus. Applicant must be willing to cross train as necessary. Our accounting team also handles additional company books.
Primary Duties:
Process AP invoices posting and payments.
Process AR invoices, posting and payments.
Work with contractor paperwork.
Process PR.
Additional accounting and clerical functions as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Maintain confidentiality (confidentiality agreement required).
3+ years bookkeeping experience (construction preferred).
Payroll report preparation (weekly/monthly/quarterly/annually).
Proficient use with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word).
Desire Viewpoint accounting software experience.
Detail and accuracy are essential to this position.
Must work independently as needed.
Handle deadlines and work under pressure.
Be organized and able to plan, implement and finish projects.
Ability to develop and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers.
Fast and accurate 10-key operation.
Computer keyboard at least 35 words per minute.
