Want to make a difference in a child's life? Catholic Charities is currently looking for a Behavior Technician for our Applied Behavioral Analysis program in our Wenatchee office.
An Applied Behavior Analysis program at Catholic Charities provides intensive services including a Day Program model which serves children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder, ages 2-5 in a comprehensive clinic-based model, group services, and early intervention model. A Positive Behavior Framework is used to develop tailored services and treatment plans to meet individual children and families' needs.
The Behavior Technician will provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a therapeutic setting serving children ages 2-5 and their families. The Behavior Technician will work under the direction of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and in collaboration with allied service providers in implementing ABA treatment plans.
Education
AA/AS in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology or a related field required.
BA in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred.
Experience
2 years' experience working with preschool children with behavioral and developmental concerns, required
Preferred experience working with preschool children and/or children with developmental disabilities including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder
Special Skills
Bilingual/Bicultural (Spanish / English) preferred
Possess strong classroom and behavioral management skills with children with ASD
Experience working with children with disabilities
Ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary team
Computer and word processing competence
Required 60-hour training in working with children with ASD
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Certified Behavior Technician
Valid Washington driver's license and minimum required liability insurance
