Custom Construction & Cabinetry, LLP is currently hiring for multiple (3) open positions. CC&C works in residential construction under a full-spectrum of client service. We work in additions, remodels, and new builds. The tasks employees could be working on includes dirt work, concrete, framing, insulation, drywall, painting, siding, window installs, door installs, cabinet installs, interior trim, window shade installs, and other miscellaneous tasks at a high to medium-end finish level. Is is recommended that applicants lists as many skills (as well as experience length) that they have in these categories on a resume. A resume is not required to apply, however.

We are looking for:

(1) Lead Carpentersomeone who can lead a crew of at least two people, has AT LEAST five years experience in the construction industry (preferably at least ten years), and a history of staying with one employer for a length of time. A successful Lead will be expected to be able to run both a framing crew and finish carpentry crew on their own with little direct oversight (only running one crew at a time).

(2) Carpentersomeone who can work along-side and direct an Apprentice with some guidance from a Lead, has AT LEAST two years experience in the construction industry, and has at least one year experience in both framing and finish carpentry. A successful Carpenter will be expected to receive direction from a Lead and then work independently with an Apprentice. Carpenters are generally placed in either a framing or a finish carpentry crew. Therefore, it is important that a Carpenter is confident in their skill and abilities to work in at least one of those fields (framing or finish carpentry).

(3) Apprenticesomeone who can take direction from a Carpenter or Lead and work as a team to accomplish tasks. Apprentices are expected to have at least some level of construction experience as we are not looking to hire a green-horn at this time.
