Orchard foreman position in Teeny Farms, a tree fruit growing company situated in the Lake Chelan area. Proven successful leadership of labor crews of up to 80 people is necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required and bilingual in Spanish/ English is essential. Strong horticultural skills needed including experience in planting, pruning, tree training of both grafted and new trees, thinning and all aspects of harvest. Ability to create efficient work patterns and evaluate quality of work performed by labor crews essential. The successful candidate will oversee labor crews on the orchard who plant, prune, tree train, thin, and harvest tree fruit, as well as any other activities requiring groups of workers. They will interact daily with the company operations manager but must be able to independently manage the labor teams and assure quality and efficient work. The foreman, along with the orchard manager will develop in conjunction with the company executive, long term plans for the orchard and then be responsible for executing the plans.
